Decorative Shankh

In Hindu texts, the shankha is extolled as a giver of fame, longevity, and prosperity, a cleaner of sin, and the dwelling of goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and Vishnus consort. The shankha is often associated with Vishnu in Hindu art.Shankh is said to be Vishnu, the Hindu god, in mythology. Hindus continue to utilise it as a symbol of longevity, riches, and success. In the modern era, it is also used to greet visitors at weddings and other joyous occasions. Shankh comes in both left- and right-handed varieties.
