Desogestrel Tablet

A contraceptive that is used to prevent pregnancy. This medication is taken daily as a tablet to prevent pregnancy. It is a progestin hormone and is taken as a replacement for the hormones progesterone and estrogen. It can be taken by women who are pregnant or not. It is used to prevent pregnancy and to treat heavy and painful periods. It may also be used in men who have a higher risk of developing breast cancer.
