Linseed Oil Cake

Linseed oil cake is a combination of flax seeds and sunflower seeds that are ground into a flour, mixed with water, and then pressed into a cake-like shape. It is made by hand in a process that takes about 45 minutes. The cake is then dried out in the sun, which takes another 12 hours.
